In a place open to the sky, facing west at the hour of sunset or east at sunrise, I pray that the cosmos be flung open to me and that all nature may receive the sound of my psalms
Open, great earth, and trees, silence your waving boughs, for I am about to sing the praise of the One and All Justice, praise the just through me Goodness, praise the good through me Selflessness, praise the All throught me It is Your words that through me sing Your praises - for all comes from You and all returns to You Accept these pure offerings of speech from a heart and soul uplifted.
You of whom no words can tell, no tongue can speak, and only silence can declare.
-The Hermetica

When I look inside and see that I am nothing, that is wisdom. When I look outside and see that I am everything, that is love. And between these two, my life turns. - Sri N. Maharaj

I am a mystic..... I believe and live by Spirit Led Living... I believe and experience that we are all Spiritual Beings having and earthly or physical existence. I believe we are all teachers on some level....and students.
For me God works and expresses through people and situations.... All is God... all is Divine and in Divine Right Timing. My peace comes in aligning to this.
My life experience has shown me we are all here to connect, to experience, to create and allow our full radiant self expression.
I believe "karma" is simply cause and effect as in vedic and esoteric teaching; in the sense of paying back is obsolete. We are in the present moment connecting and co-creating our reality.
Yes, there is fate or destiny and within that I do have free will to co-create within the Divine Plan for the highest good; which to me means we all have a lot of creative input and a lot to share, receive and give.
What each of us thinks and does is relevant and is assisting in creating greater consiousness.
Remember who you truly are, A Divine Spiritual Being expressing, living and being........ and experiencing this human/earthly life..... You are both human, transcendent and divine......and your freedom lies in knowing this.
The truth for me is that spirit is behind all things great and small. And, God is spirit expressing through us as us...
I love helping people access this truth, live it. To me we are all meant to live full spectrum to create fulfillment.... And, in some way share what we have or know.....
I dance to my inner rhythm and flow of life. I get a great joy and fulfillment from assisting others to connect with their own inner being and dance to their life with joy and fulfilment.
My love of devotional music, chanting and creating guided imagery and meditation processes comes from my dharma... My Life Work...... which chose me... I have always felt a deep connection to God- to spirit and my spiritual nature. I have always felt universal.....beyond labels, religion and ethnicity. I have always felt a deep connection to All That Is and humanity.
I have felt of another world and of this world and lived centered in between ultimately seeing and experiencing they are one.... We all are one.... From one source....one heart one mind reflecting as many....Thank you for visiting, connecting and sharing..... Celebrate Your Life......It is Your Divine Expression.

Love

Love has the quality of informing almost everything--even one's work.
--Sylvia Ashton-Warner

We are changed through loving and being loved. Our attitudes are profoundly and positively affected by the presence of love in our lives. Each time we offer a loving response to a friend, co-worker, even a stranger, we powerfully influence the dynamics of the interaction between us.

Every response we make to someone changes us while it informs him or her. When we treat others with disdain, we invite the same. When we express only criticism of others, our self-assessment is equally negative. The beauty of a loving posture is that it calls forth love in response. The more love we give away, the more we receive.

Any task before us is lessened when we carry love in our hearts. Love is more powerful than fear. Love helps to open the channel to God, assuring us of the strength, the understanding, and the patience needed to complete any assignment confronting us.

God loves me, unconditionally. And I will e...

Divine Love

It is of a spirtual nature, it is all-encompassing and unconditional. Divine Love is often attributed only to God and/or spiritual beings. Yet as we are all sparks of the creator (The Divine) and as the Creator is Love, we are therefore also love, we are therefore also love - Divine Love is who we really are, yet in our human state and using mostly our five senses, we have forgotten this and we perceive other people and animals and nature as "separate" from ourselves. But we are all made of the same "stuff" and are all therefore "One" and all connected. This is confirmed on a scientific level with Quantum Physics. It is our perception of separateness the causes all the woes we have in this world.
A Balenced Life.

As we strive to lead a balanced life, which may give inner satisfaction to the self, i.e., it brings self-esteem to us and also contributes to the social good of our world. But we hardly realize what the prerequisites for such a balance in life are. There is a growing realization in people the world over that our attitude is the real determinant of our success in life.

If our attitude is based on a spiritual way of life, we are destined to act and react in a different way. If we are steeped in materialism and value only mundane possessions, our attitude will only bring dissatisfaction to the self and we will not be able to contribute to the social good in valid sense. Many people don’t distinguish between spirituality and religion.Spirituality is distinct from religion. Spirituality underlines the importance of the moral values, meditation and positive thinking. Spirituality covers people of all religions. Neither does it foreg...

Just Thinking.

What are you thinking right now? If ..... your thoughts shape your life, would you want what you were thinking right now to become true for you? If it's a thought of worry or anger or hurt or revenge or fear, how do you think this thought will not come back to you? .....

Imagine yourself in line at a ... buffet in a luxurious hotel, where instead of dishes of food, there are dishes of thoughts. You get to choose any and all the thoughts of you wish. These thoughts will create your future experiences.

Now, if you choose thoughts that will create problems and pain, that's rather foolish. It's like choosing food that always makes you ill .... It's the same with thoughts. Let us stay away from thoughts that create problems and pain....

I have never understood the importance of having to memorise battle dates in school ....
"In Order To Feel Anything You Need Strength" -- Anna Maria Ortese

Strength for any task, to withstand any pressure, to find the solution to any problem, is always as close as our very breath. We expend all our energy, wearing ourselves down, even getting sick from worry when we fail to turn to the source of strength that is ours for the taking.

We are offered, moment-by-moment, opportunities to experience the rapture of life. We have the chance, to trust our senses, to turn ourselves over to the moment, knowing we can survive every experience, knowing we are guaranteed new knowledge, a greater awareness of the meaning of our own lives when we're fully attuned to the experiences that are uniquely our own, right here, right now.

Our strength increases as we flex it, not unlike muscles. The more we turn to that greater power, the more available that source of strength becomes. With practice, it becomes habitual to let God help us withstand all pressures, solve every problem. In time, the pressures and problems seem to exist no more. We learn to let our hi...

THE PEAK OF PERFECTION

You can climb the peak of perfection through resolute will, intense
dispassion, renunciation and rigorous Meditation. Sublime divine
thought is very powerful, it is a dynamic transmuting force.
Diligently seek the path of truth; tread it carefully and vigilantly,
for you may slip and fall. Love is harmlessness, kindness,
compassion. Nothing can tempt you if you are regular in meditation.
He who is pure at heart has already found divinity. Renunciation of
egoism is the direct way to the eternal.

Knowledge of the imperishable bestows perfect freedom and
independence. Where egoism is, immortality is not; where immortality
is, egoism is not. Concentration will give you great power. Collect
the scattered rays of the mind. Lust and greed make you a spiritual
bankrupt. Purity and meditation bestow on you inexhaustible divine
wealth.

A yogi becomes the master-builder of the temple of truth.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
Tent tethered among the jackpine and blue-bells. Lacewings rise from rock
incubators. Wild geese fying north. And I can't remember who I'm supposed to be.

I want to learn how to purr. Abandon myself, have mistresses in maidenhair fern, own no tomorrow nor yesterday: a blank shimmering space forward and back.

I want to think with my belly. I want to name all the stars animals flowers birds rocks in order to forget them, start over again.

I want to wear the seasons, harlequin, become ancient and etched by weather. I want to be snow pulse, ruminating ungulate, pebble at the bottom of the abyss, candle burning darkness rather than flame.

I want to peer at things shameless, observe the unfastening, that stripping of shape by dusk. I want to sit in the meadow a rotten stump pungent with slimemold, home for pupae and grubs, concentric rings collapsing into the passacaglia of time.

I want to crawl inside someone and hibernate one entire night with no clocks to wake me, thighs fragrant loam.
Reaching For The Stars

Always aim higher than you believe you can reach. So often, you'll discover that when your talents are set free by your imagination, you can achieve any goal.

If people offer their help or wisdom as you go through life, accept it gratefully. You can learn much from those who have gone before you. But never be afraid or hesitant to step off the accepted path and head off in your own direction if your heart tells you that it's the right way for you.

Always believe that you will ultimately succeed at whatever you do, and never forget the value of persistence, discipline, and determination.

You are meant to be whatever you dream of becoming.

Can you guess what the answer to every question is?

Love is the answer to every question.
Why are we here? Love.
Where do we come from? Love.
How do we create world peace? Love.

It may sound overly simplistic to the modern person, since we all want to analyze and
look for complex answers to questions. We don’t believe that life is simple and the answers to its problems can also be simple.... love.

In truth, what are anger, sadness, pain but the soul’s desire for love?

If we learn to love ourselves without reservation, and to love the world in the same way, the answer is simple. It is impossible, when filled with love, to be aggressive or hate-filled or violent.

When we know that we are beautiful and wonderful, we see the world through those eyes. We see the beauty and wonder in all things around us.

We don’t need to look outside ourselves for the love we seek. It has been there all along. It is the voice of our self-esteem. It is our anger saying, ‘hey this is not right for me. I don’t want this in my life any longer.’

Self-love is say...

What if,

What if... a long, long time ago... somebody told you that you would one day live on a beautiful planet, surrounded by stars and mountains and oceans and where almost anything was possible...

What if they told you that you'd have the ability to laugh and sing and love... and that you'd also be met by many interesting, sometimes painful challenges, all of them designed to teach you important lessons you will need for future journeys.

What if somebody told you this hundreds of years ago - before you were even born?

Would you have believed them?

30 Second Quiz

Don't bother getting a pen and paper... just read... if you can't
answer them, just keep going.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America contest.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer prize.

5. Name the last five Academy Award winners for Best Actor and Actress.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remembers the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They're the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Now here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. Name three teachers who aided your journey through school.

2. Name three friends who helped you through a difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something worth while.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.

5.
Pondering Life's Mystery's...

When all the words have been written, and all the phrases have been spoken, the great mystery of life
will still remain. We may map the terrains of our lives, measure the farthest reaches of the universe,
but no amount of searching will ever reveal for certain whether we are all children of chance or part of a
great design.

And who among us would have it otherwise? Who would wish to take the mystery out of the experience
of looking into a newborn infant’s eyes? Who would not feel in violation of something great if we had
knowledge of what has departed when we stare into a beloved face of one who has died? These are the events that made us human, that define the distance between the stars and us.

Still, this life is not easy. Much of its mystery is darkness. Tragedies occur, injustices exist. Bad things befall good people and sufferings are visited upon the innocent. To live we must take the lives of other species, to survive we must leave some of our brothers and sisters by the...

friendship poem

Each of us has a hidden place
Somewhere deep within ourselves;
A place where we go to get away,
To think things through,
To be alone, to be ourselves.

This unique place, where we confront our deepest feelings,
Becomes a storehouse of all our hopes,
All our needs, all our dreams,
And even our unspoken fears.
It encompasses the essence of who we are and what we want to be.

But now and then, whether by chance or design,
Someone discovers a way into that place we thought was ours alone.
And we allow that person to see, to feel and to share
All the reason, all the uncertainty
And all the emotion we've stored up there.

That person adds new perspective to our hidden realm,
Then quietly settles down in his own corner of our special place,
Where a bit of himself will stay forever.

And we call that person a friend.

Thanks for your friendship!

Patience
How sick and tired we may become of people telling us to be patient or to learn patience. How frustrating it can be to want to finally have something, or to move forward, and then not have that happen. How irritating to have someone tell us to wait while our needs have not been met and were in the midst of anxiety, frustration, and inaction.

Do not confuse the suggestion to be patient with the old rule about not having feelings.

Being patient does not mean we go through the sometimes-grueling process of life and recovery without having feelings! Feel the frustration. Feel the impatience. Get as angry as you need to about not having your needs met. Feel your fear.

Controlling our feelings will not control the process!

We find patience by surrendering to our feelings. Patience cannot be forced. It is a gift, one that closely follows acceptance and gratitude. When we work through our feelings to fully accept who we are and what we have, we will be ready to be and have more.

Today, I will let m...

My most missed memories

My most missed memories take place by the creek in the woods behind my house, or in the mulch beds by the front door. They take place in the breezy days of spring and in the sweltering summers.

Those were the days when my sister and I would venture joyfully outside and unload our creativity on the world.

We'd throw on our mud boots and wade through the creek, marveling at the little schools of fishes, water spiders and the ocassional crayfish. Then we'd snatch up our precious walnut shell boats and race them down one of the many rivulets of water, running alongside to catch them before they were swallowed up by the creek.

We'd stand on the gigantic tree trunk that had fallen across the rushing water, daring each other to jump off onto the small sliver of sandy beach and rocks. Then we'd venture across the tree to the other side of the creek, where we sometimes saw a mysterious "witch lady" who would creep up behind us with her german shepard and send us running.

We'd work meticulously for ...
